moveIT Software GmbH offers you a local new installation at a reasonable flat rate.

The quick and professional implementation is carried out by a technician from the moveIT software and is carried out using the remote maintenance tool Team Viewer.

If you install the program by yourself or through your own administrator, we ask you to read these instructions carefully and implement them step by step.

In this case, you install the program at your own risk! If, contrary to expectations, additional technical support is required, we would like to point out that corresponding support from a moveIT Software GmbH technician will be invoiced. We would be happy to advise you on the expected costs upon request.

This guide will explain the necessary installation procedures.

For the software and hardware requirements, please refer to the "System Requirements".

Please log in as a user with full administrator rights.

If an antivirus program is active, the antivirus exceptions must be set correctly!

To create a directory and enter the permissions, switch to Windows Explorer. Create the directory where you want to install moveIT ISS+. To do this, for example, create a new folder on the C:\ drive and name it "moveIT_ISS".

Now select the new folder C:\moveIT_ISS and click the right mouse button – Properties – Security tab and here on the "Advanced" button.

In this new window, please click on "Change permissions" and uncheck "Include inheritable permissions of the parent object" and click on "Add" in the next window.

Now remove entries that are not required and enter the persons and/or groups that are to work with moveIT ISS+.

Permissions on the drive

You absolutely have to leave SYSTEM and administrators!! It is essential that users have full access to this folder, subfolders and files.

You can also use a domain group or the entry 'Everyone' here. Be sure to remove the 'Creator/Owner' entry!

Once this is done, apply the settings with [Apply]. Now you can start the setup.

If there is ever a problem with permissions, you can have the settings "reinherited" by checking the box "All permissions for subordinate objects..." and then have it inherited again. However, depending on the number of files, this can take a little longer, as the permissions are rewritten for EACH file. Therefore, this should be done BEFORE setup.

Now run the Release_54.xx.xx.exe. Double-click on this file to start the installation.

Select the desired installation language in the first screen and confirm your entry with [OK].

In the "Welcome" window that follows, you will find information about the installation.

Click the [Next] button to continue the installation.

Select the "Setup" option in the window "Type of installation" and continue by clicking on the button [Next].

In the "Setup Settings" window, the item "Local Client" must be selected. In this window, you can also select the desired language and the country of your moveIT ISS+ version.

If you wish to install the program in several languages, please check [Install additional languages].

The installation folder shows you the path of your moveIT ISS+ version.

By default, you can leave this directory as it is (if you want to choose a different path, please note that it will not be C:\program files\... or C:\Program Files\... may read).

Click on the [Next] button.

If you have checked [Install additional languages], it is now possible to install the program in these languages.

Check the box in the desired languages and then continue the installation by clicking on [Next].

Storage space

Since moveIT ISS+ will require more storage space for master data and user data in the future, depending on use, there should be enough storage space reserves!

In the last window, please click [Finish] to complete your installation.

During the installation, a start shortcut "moveIT ISS+" was created both on the desktop and in the Windows start menu, with which the program can be started.

To log in, enter "ISS" for User and Password. For daily work with moveIT ISS+, we recommend creating your own user.

You can find out how to create and set up your own user in the topic "Creating employees, clerks and users".

After logging in, you will be prompted to activate the license. This is done via the software protection client.

In order to work with moveIT ISS+, it is necessary to install the master data of your trading partners. The Live Update provides you with the latest program updates and master data adjustments. Please note that all updates must be installed seamlessly and in the correct order! The respective minimum program version is noted directly with the update/adaptation.
