With the "Repair" function, you have the option of moving your moveIT ISS+ version from one directory to another or transferring it to a new computer as easily as possible.

moveIT Software is happy to offer you the option of moving the program with a service package. The quick and professional implementation is carried out by a technician from the moveIT software and is carried out via remote maintenance tool.

If you do the move yourself or through your own administrator, we ask you to read these instructions carefully and implement them step by step. In this case, the implementation is at your own risk.

If, contrary to expectations, additional technical support is required, we would like to point out that appropriate support will be charged by a technician of the moveIT software.

Important preparatory work

Antivirus

If an antivirus program is active (local computer, terminal server, database server and network clients), the antivirus exceptions must be set correctly!

Getting Started

First, move the entire folder of the installation to the new path or copy the entire folder moveIT_ISS to a new computer.

Here you should now check or correct the permissions. Users need the following Windows security permissions on the entire moveIT ISS+ directory to run the application:

• Change

• Read/Execute

• To write

• Delete

Repair

If the path has changed due to the move of moveIT ISS+, you still have to carry out a repair with path adjustment with the last installed update! The most recently installed updates can be found in the folder "<moveIT Installation Directory>\Data\Updates".

Software Protection Client - Licensing

If you have moved the program to a new computer (on which no SWS client is yet on it), you will be asked to "Adjust dongle settings" or activate the license on the new computer. To do this, please read the following instructions to continue: "Software Protection Client".
